Question 1

How does theschool.review verify school reviews and ratings?

Accepted Answer

theschool.review operates a cryptographic verification ladder. Parent submissions start with OTP email authentication (Level 1). Reviews accompanied by authentic tuition fee receipts receive Level 2 verification (2.4x trust multiplier). Level 3 adds government ID verification (4.0x gold trust tier). Anonymous and unverified submissions are flagged to prevent review manipulation.

Question 2

Can schools pay to remove negative reviews or alter their rank on theschool.review?

Accepted Answer

No. Under the platform's Transparency Charter, no school, corporate chain, or commercial advertiser can pay to alter rank, suppress critical parent reviews, or purchase 'Top School' badges. Verified school trustees receive a guaranteed 100% Free Right of Reply to publish official clarifications directly alongside parent feedback.

Question 3

Which education boards are covered in the directory?

Accepted Answer

theschool.review covers all major curricula recognized in India: CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education), Cambridge IGCSE, IB (International Baccalaureate World Schools), and recognized State Education Boards.

Question 4

How are school fees and student-teacher ratios calculated?

Accepted Answer

School fees are audited directly from parent fee receipts and officially published school disclosures. Ratios and safety infrastructure (such as CCTV coverage and female attendant presence) are audited by verified parents and school administrative submissions.
